Comparison review

Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has a general score of 67.9, which is much better than HP ProPad 600's 58.2 general score. The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 is a way thinner and much lighter portable tablet than HP ProPad 600, even though both were released only a couple of months apart. The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 works with Android 4.4 operating system, and HP ProPad 600 counts with Windows 8.1 operating system.

The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 features a much better looking display than HP ProPad 600, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a better resolution of 1600 x 2560px and a lot higher pixel amount per inch in the screen. The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 counts with a little better hardware performance than HP ProPad 600, although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have a Quad-Core processing unit.

The HP ProPad 600 and Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 feature really similar storage for applications and games, both have exactly the same 64 GB internal memory. HP ProPad 600 has a way better battery lifetime than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9. The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 counts with a slightly better camera than HP ProPad 600. Both have a 8 megapixels camera.

Although Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than HP ProPad 600, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as HP ProPad 600. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the HP ProPad 600, letting go a couple features and specs.
