Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has a general score of 67.9, which is better than the LG G Pad II 8.0's 58.3 global score. Amazon Fire HDX 8.9's construction is somewhat thinner than the LG G Pad II 8.0, but it is a little heavier and was released a little bit over a year before. These tablets include Android OS (operating system), but the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has 4.4 version while LG G Pad II 8.0 has Android 5.0 Lollipop version.
