Comparison review
The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 is slightly better than the Microsoft Surface Pro 7, having a 67.9 score against 66.9. Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has Android 4.4 OS, and Microsoft Surface Pro 7 comes with Windows 10 OS. Despite of the fact that the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 is older than the Microsoft Surface Pro 7, it's design is much lighter and a bit thinner.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 7 has just a bit better processing power than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, because although it has less cpu cores (although they are faster), it also counts with a higher amount of RAM. Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has a sharper screen than Microsoft Surface Pro 7, because although it has a much smaller display and a quite lower 1600 x 2560 resolution, it also counts with more pixels per inch of screen.
Microsoft Surface Pro 7 features a very superior memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, because it has 128 GB internal memory. Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has a bit better camera than Microsoft Surface Pro 7. Both of them have the same video frame rate, the same (Full HD) video definition and a 8 MP resolution camera.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 7 has a battery lifetime that is very similar to the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 one.
Despite of being the best tablet in our current comparison, the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 is also very cheap compared to the other ones, which makes this tablet a great choice.
