Comparison review
Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 is slightly better than Nokia N1, with a score of 67.9 against 66. These tablets work with Android operating system, but Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has 4.4 version and Nokia N1 has Android 5.0 version. Although it's the best we compare here, it must be noted that it is also just a bit thicker and somewhat heavier.
The Nokia N1 features a quite superior hardware performance than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, and although they both have 2 GB of RAM memory and the same number of cores, the Nokia N1 also has an additional GPU and a 64-bit CPU. Nokia N1 has a display that is just as good as Amazon Fire HDX 8.9's screen, although the Nokia N1 has a quite lower quantity of pixels per screen inch, a quite smaller display and a little lower resolution of 2048 x 1536px.
The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 captures a bit better pictures and videos than Nokia N1. Both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution, a 8 mega-pixels resolution camera in the back and the same video frame rates. The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 counts with a much greater storage capacity for games and applications than Nokia N1, because it has 64 GB internal storage.
The Nokia N1 has a much longer battery duration than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9.
Although Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 is a better device, it costs more than Nokia N1, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Nokia N1. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the Nokia N1, resigning a couple features and specs.
