Comparison review
Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 is just a bit better than OSCAL Pad 15, having a score of 67.9 against 64.4. Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 is a lighter portable tablet than the OSCAL Pad 15, but both are equally thin. Both devices in this review have Android OS, but Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has the previous 4.4 version while OSCAL Pad 15 has Android 13.
Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has a much sharper screen than OSCAL Pad 15, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a much higher display pixel density and a way higher 1600 x 2560px resolution. OSCAL Pad 15 features a much bigger memory to store more games and applications than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, because it has more internal memory and an external SD slot that allows up to 512 GB.
Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 counts with a bit faster processing unit than OSCAL Pad 15, although it has an inferior number of cores and less RAM. OSCAL Pad 15 has a superior battery performance than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9. OSCAL Pad 15 counts with a bit better camera than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, because it has a camera in the back with way more megapixels.
