Comparison review
Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 is just a bit better than Samsung Ativ Tab, with a 67.9 score against 66.7. The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 comes with Android 4.4 OS, and Samsung Ativ Tab works with Windows RT OS. The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 design is newer, somewhat thinner and a lot lighter than Samsung Ativ Tab. The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has a way better looking display than Samsung Ativ Tab, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a much greater pixel amount per inch of screen and a lot better 1600 x 2560px resolution.
Samsung Ativ Tab counts with a superior storage capacity to store more games and applications than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal memory capacity, the Samsung Ativ Tab also has an external memory card slot that supports up to 64 GB. The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has just a little better performance than Samsung Ativ Tab, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processor, and they both have the same RAM amount, the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 also counts with 2 more cpu cores.
The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 shoots better photos and videos than Samsung Ativ Tab, because it has a much better (Full HD) video resolution and a lot more mega-pixels camera. The Samsung Ativ Tab has a really longer battery life than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9.
Despite of being the best tablet of the ones we are comparing, Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 is also by far the cheapest one.
