Comparison review
Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 is just a bit better than Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE, having a score of 67.9 against 63. The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 is a newer portable tablet, and it is also notably lighter and somewhat thinner than Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE. Both devices we are comparing come with Android OS, but the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has the previous 4.4 version while Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE has Android 4.4.2.
Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 features a bit better processing unit than Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE. Both of them have the same RAM amount and the same number of cores. Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has an incredibly better looking screen than Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a way better number of pixels per screen inch and a much better 1600 x 2560 resolution.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE's battery lifetime is just as good as the battery performance in Amazon Fire HDX 8.9.
