Comparison review
Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 is better than the Galaxy Tab 10.1, having a general score of 67.9 against 58.1. Both of these devices include Android OS (operating system), but Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has 4.4 version and Galaxy Tab 10.1 has Android 4.0.4, so it gives a couple nice extra features. Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 is a much newer device, and it's also somewhat thinner and notably lighter than Galaxy Tab 10.1.
The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has a really superior hardware performance than Galaxy Tab 10.1, because it has a greater number of faster cores. The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 counts with a much more vibrant display than Galaxy Tab 10.1, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a lot greater screen density and a much higher resolution of 1600 x 2560.
Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has a slightly better camera than Galaxy Tab 10.1, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 1920x1080 video definition, the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 also has a camera with way more MP. Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 counts with a way bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Tab 10.1, because it has 64 GB internal storage capacity.
