The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 is a bit better than Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, having a general score of 67.9 against 65.9. These tablets use Android OS (operating system), but Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has newer 4.4 version while Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch has Android 4.2 version. The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 construction is newer, way lighter and a little bit thinner than the Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch.
The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has a superior performance than Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, because it has 1 GB more RAM memory and a larger number of cores.
