Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has a score of 67.9, which is slightly better than the Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE's 63.5 general score. Both of these devices use Android operating system, but the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has newer 4.4 version while Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE has Android 4.0 version, so it provides you some extra features. Amazon Fire HDX 8.9's construction is a little thinner but just a little heavier than Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE.
Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 features a faster CPU than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE, because although it has doesn't have a GPU, it also counts with a larger amount of RAM and 2 more processing cores.
