The Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) has an overall score of 70.2, which is a little bit better than the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9's 67.9 score. These devices have Android OS, but the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) has the newer 8.1 Oreo version and Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has Android 4.4, offering a couple additional features and performance optimizations. The Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) is a newer tablet than the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, but it is just a little bit thicker and noticeably heavier.
