The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) has an overall score of 76.7, which is much better than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9's general score of 67.9. Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) is a noticeably heavier tablet device than the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, but they have the same thickness. These tablets come with Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) has the newer 11 version while Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has Android 4.4.
Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has a little bit better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019), although it has a lower amount of RAM and a lower number of cores. Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 counts with an incredibly better display than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019), because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1600 x 2560 pixels and a lot greater screen pixel density.

Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) features a much better battery life than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9.
