Comparison review

Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 is slightly better than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), getting a 67.9 score against 65.7. Both of these devices use Android OS (operating system), but the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has an older 4.4 version and Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) has Android 9.0 Pie version. Amazon Fire HDX 8.9's construction is somewhat thinner than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), but it's a bit heavier and was released 3 years before.

The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has just a little better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017). They have the same number of cores and a 2 GB RAM. The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 counts with a lot better looking display than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), because it has a much better pixels quantity per inch of screen, a way higher 1600 x 2560 resolution and a little bit bigger screen.
