Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab Active Pro is much better than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, having a 77.5 score against 67.9. These devices have Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Tab Active Pro has a more recent 9.0 Pie version while Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has Android 4.4 version. The Galaxy Tab Active Pro body is noticeably newer than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9's, although it is incredibly thicker and much heavier.
Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 counts with an incredibly better screen than Galaxy Tab Active Pro, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1600 x 2560 pixels and a much better screen density. The Galaxy Tab Active Pro features a way bigger storage capacity for applications and games than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal storage capacity, the Galaxy Tab Active Pro also has a slot for an external memory card that holds a maximum of 512 GB.
Galaxy Tab Active Pro and Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 have extremely similar processing units, although the Galaxy Tab Active Pro also has more RAM and more cores (but slower). Galaxy Tab Active Pro counts with a very superior battery lifetime than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9. Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro captures way better photographs and videos than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, because it has a lot more mega-pixels back facing camera and a lot higher (4K) video quality.
The Galaxy Tab Active Pro is a lot more expensive than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, but you can get a better tablet for that few more dollars.
