Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 is much better than the Galaxy Tab E, with a global score of 67.9 against 60.7. Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 is a notably lighter and just a little bit thinner tablet than the Galaxy Tab E, even when both of them were only released with a couple months difference. Both of these tablets have the same Android 4.4 OS (Operating System).

The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 features a way better display than Samsung Galaxy Tab E, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a much higher screen pixels density and a much better 1600 x 2560 resolution. Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 features a quite better performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab E, and although they both have a Quad-Core processing unit, the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 also has a greater amount of RAM.
