Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has a score of 74.6, which is a bit better than the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9's overall score of 67.9. These tablets use the same Android 4.4 OS. Even though the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 is older and notably heavier than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, it's design is still a little bit thinner.

The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 features a little bit better looking display than Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1, because although it has a little smaller screen, and they both have the same exact 1600 x 2560 resolution, the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 also counts with a just a little better amount of pixels per screen inch.

The Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 costs a bit more than the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, but you can get a better tablet for that few extra dollars.
