Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 is much better than the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, getting a 78.5 score against 67.9. These tablets use the same Android 4.4 OS (operating system). Even being the best tablet we compare here, we must note that it is also an older, a little bit thicker and extremely heavier tablet.

The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has a little sharper display than Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2, because although it has a really smaller display, and they both have exactly the same 1600 x 2560 resolution, the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 also counts with a greater count of pixels per inch of display. The Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 has much more storage capacity to install applications and games than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, and although they both have the same internal memory capacity, the Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 also has a slot for external memory cards that supports up to 64 GB.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 features a little bit better processing power than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 also has a greater amount of RAM memory and a graphics co-processor. Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 captures much better photographs and videos than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9. They have the same (Full HD) video definition, the same video frame rates and the same resolution back facing camera.

Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 has a much better battery duration than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9.

Despite of being the best tablet of the ones in this comparison, Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 is also a lot cheaper.
