Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 has an overall score of 74.3, which is a little bit better than the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9's general score of 67.9. Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has just a little better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5, although it has an inferior number of cores and a lower amount of RAM memory. Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has a little bit better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5, because although it has a little smaller display, and they both have an equal 1600 x 2560 resolution, the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 also counts with a little greater screen density.
Galaxy Tab S 10.5 has just a bit bigger memory capacity for apps and games than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, because although it has just 32 GB internal storage, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that holds a maximum of 128 GB. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 has a much longer battery performance than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 features just a bit better camera than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9. They have the same (Full HD) video definition, the same video frame rate and the same resolution back camera.
Despite of being the best tablet in our current comparison, Galaxy Tab S 10.5 is also by far the cheapest, which makes this tablet an obvious call.
