Comparison review
Galaxy Tab S2 8.0-inch has an overall score of 73.6, which is a bit better than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9's 67.9 global score. Galaxy Tab S2 8.0-inch is a newer tablet, and it's also extremely thinner and lighter than the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9. Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has a much better display than Galaxy Tab S2 8.0-inch, because it has a little bit higher pixels density, a little bigger display and a bit higher 1600 x 2560 resolution.
The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has a bit faster CPU than Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8.0-inch, although it has less processing cores and 1 GB lesser RAM memory. The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 captures just a bit better pictures and videos than Galaxy Tab S2 8.0-inch. They have a camera in the back with an 8 mega pixels resolution, the same (Full HD) video quality and the same video frame rate.
The Galaxy Tab S2 8.0-inch features a superior storage capacity for applications and games than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, and although they both have equal internal storage, the Galaxy Tab S2 8.0-inch also has a SD card slot that admits up to 128 GB.
