Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab S3 is much better than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, having a score of 75.2 against 67.9. Even though the Galaxy Tab S3 is heavier than the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, it's noticeably thinner and also much newer. Both devices in this comparison review include Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Tab S3 has a newer 9.0 Pie version and Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has Android 4.4, giving you a couple nice extra features and performance enhancements.
The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 counts with a much better screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab S3, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a higher display density and a slightly higher 1600 x 2560px resolution. Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 features a little better performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab S3, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have a Quad-Core processing unit.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 has a bigger memory for games and applications than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, because although it has 0 less internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that allows up to 256 GB. The Galaxy Tab S3 captures a lot better pictures and videos than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, because it has a much better 3840x2160 video resolution, a much better resolution back camera and a bigger camera aperture to capture better images and video in low light situations.
Galaxy Tab S3 has a much better battery lifetime than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9.
Even being the best tablet of the ones we are comparing here, Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 is also by far the cheapest one, making this tablet a no doubt choice.
