Comparison review
The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Mi Pad 2, having a overall score of 67.9 against 65.7. Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has Android 4.4 operating system, while Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 counts with Android operating system. Although it's the best in our current comparison, Amazon Fire HDX 8.9's construction is older, just a little bit thicker and heavier than the Xiaomi Mi Pad 2.
Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 features a better looking screen than Xiaomi Mi Pad 2, because it has a slightly higher 1600 x 2560 resolution, a quite higher count of pixels per inch in the display and a bit bigger display. The Xiaomi Mi Pad 2's memory capacity to store more games and applications is very similar to Amazon Fire HDX 8.9's one, both of them have the same 64 GB internal storage capacity.
Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 counts with a bit faster processor than Xiaomi Mi Pad 2. They have 2 GB of RAM and 4 cpu cores. The Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 features a really longer battery performance than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9. Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 takes a bit better photographs and videos than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, and although they both have the same video frame rates, the same (Full HD) video resolution and a 8 MP camera in the back, the Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 also has a larger camera aperture.
Although Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Xiaomi Mi Pad 2, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Xiaomi Mi Pad 2. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Xiaomi Mi Pad 2, letting go some features and specifications.
