Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has a general score of 58, which is much better than Amazon Fire's global score of 51.1. Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 is an older tablet than Amazon Fire, but it is thinner and a bit lighter anyway. Both tablets in this review use Android operating system, but Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has the older 4.2.2 version and Amazon Fire has Android 5.0 version.
Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 counts with a much more vibrant screen than Amazon Fire, and although they both have a screen with the same size, the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 also has a much greater screen pixels density and a lot higher 1200 x 1920px resolution. The Amazon Fire features a much better storage capacity to install games and applications than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, because although it has 0 less internal memory, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that admits a maximum of 128 GB.
