Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is way better than Amazon Kindle Fire HD (2013), with a 73.3 score against 47.9. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is a somewhat lighter and noticeably thinner device than the Amazon Kindle Fire HD (2013), although they were released with only a couple of months difference. Both tablets in this review use Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has the newer 4.4.2 version while Amazon Kindle Fire HD (2013) has Android 4.2.2 version.

Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has a bit better performance than Amazon Kindle Fire HD (2013), because it has a greater number of faster cores and a higher amount of RAM memory. Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has a much sharper screen than Amazon Kindle Fire HD (2013), because it has a lot higher pixel quantity per inch of display, a much higher resolution of 2560 x 1600 and a larger display.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 features a much better camera than Amazon Kindle Fire HD (2013). The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 counts with a way bigger memory for games and applications than Amazon Kindle Fire HD (2013), and although they both have equal 16 GB internal storage, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 also has an external memory card slot that allows up to 128 GB.
