OSCAL Pad 13 is a lot better than the Amazon Kindle Fire HD (2013), getting a 57.3 score against 47. OSCAL Pad 13 is a noticeably newer and noticeably thinner device than the Amazon Kindle Fire HD (2013), although it's noticeably heavier. Both devices in this comparison come with Android OS (operating system), but OSCAL Pad 13 has the previous 12 version while Amazon Kindle Fire HD (2013) has Android 4.2.2 version.

The Amazon Kindle Fire HD (2013) counts with a much better display than OSCAL Pad 13, because although it has a really smaller display and a way worse 800 x 1280 pixels resolution, it also counts with a bit greater pixel density.
