Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has a score of 68.5, which is better than the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020)'s 59.7 global score. These tablets have Android OS (operating system), but Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has the older 4.2.2 version while Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) has Android 9.0 Pie version. Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 is an extremely older and a little bit heavier portable tablet than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), but Amazon could make it thinner anyway.
The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has an incredibly better screen than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), because it has a little bigger display, a way better resolution of 1600 x 2560 and a lot more pixels per screen inch. The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 counts with a bit better CPU than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, and they both have a Quad-Core CPU, the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 also counts with an extra GPU.
Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) features a much greater memory capacity for games and applications than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9, because although it has only 32 GB internal storage, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that holds a maximum of 1000 GB. Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 counts with a very superior camera than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), because it has a camera in the back with lot more megapixels.
The Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) features a battery life that is just as good as the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 one.
