Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 is a bit better than iPad (2020), with a 68.5 score against 66.6. The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 body is a lot lighter than the iPad (2020), although it's just a bit thicker and was released 7 years before. The iPad (2020) has just a bit better hardware performance than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9, because although it has doesn't have a GPU, and they both have the same number of cores, the iPad (2020) also counts with a 64-bits CPU.
Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 counts with a better looking screen than Apple iPad (2020), because although it has a little bit smaller screen and much worse brightness, it also counts with a slightly higher 1600 x 2560px resolution and a better screen density. Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 features a way bigger storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Apple iPad (2020), because it has more internal storage.
