Comparison review

The Google Nexus 7 (2013) is slightly better than the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9, with a 70.8 score against 68.5. These devices include Android operating system, but Google Nexus 7 (2013) has 5.0 version while Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has Android 4.2.2, so it gives a couple additional features. Even though Google Nexus 7 (2013) and Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 were released with only a couple months difference, the Google Nexus 7 (2013) construction is incredibly lighter but also a bit thicker.

The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 counts with a little bit better screen than Google Nexus 7 (2013), because it has a little bit more pixels per inch in the display, a better resolution of 1600 x 2560 pixels, more screen brightness and a larger display. Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 counts with a bit better hardware performance than Google Nexus 7 (2013), and although they both have a Quad-Core CPU and a 2 GB RAM memory, the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 also has a better GPU running at 450 megahertz.
