Comparison review
The Huawei MatePad 11 is just a bit better than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9, having a general score of 70.2 against 68.5. The Huawei MatePad 11 comes with HarmonyOS operating system, while Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 counts with Android 4.2.2 operating system. Huawei MatePad 11's design is a lot newer, noticeably lighter and much thinner than the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9.
Huawei MatePad 11 has just a bit better hardware performance than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processor, it also counts with a larger number of cores (and faster) and more RAM memory. Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 features a lot better screen than Huawei MatePad 11, because although it has a bit smaller display, and they both have the same exact 1600 x 2560 resolution, the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 also counts with a quite higher display pixel density.
Huawei MatePad 11's memory to install games and applications is just as good as the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 one, both have exactly the same 64 GB internal storage capacity. Huawei MatePad 11 takes better videos and photos than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9, because it has a much more mega-pixels back camera and a larger aperture for better images and video in low-light situations.
