The Huawei MediaPad M5 8 has a global score of 75.5, which is better than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9's 68.5 general score. These tablets come with Android OS, but Huawei MediaPad M5 8 has a newer 8.0 Oreo version and Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has Android 4.2.2 version. Huawei MediaPad M5 8's design is way newer, just a bit thinner and lighter than the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9.
Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 features a much better looking screen than Huawei MediaPad M5 8, because although it has a little bit lower display pixels density, and they both have the same exact 1600 x 2560 resolution, the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 also counts with a quite bigger screen. Huawei MediaPad M5 8 features a little bit better processing power than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9, because although it has doesn't have a graphics co-processor, it also counts with more RAM memory and a higher number of cores (and faster).
