Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has a general score of 68.5, which is much better than the Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0's 60.4 score. The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 design has the same thickness than the Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, but it's just a bit heavier. Both devices in this review have Android operating system, but the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has older 4.2.2 version and Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 has Android 4.3.
Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 counts with a bit faster processor than Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, and although they both have 4 CPU cores, the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 also has more RAM memory and a much better graphics processing unit. Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 counts with an incredibly better looking display than Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, because it has a lot better 1600 x 2560px resolution, a little larger screen and a way higher pixels count per display inch.
The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 takes clearer photographs and videos than Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, because it has a back facing camera with a lot higher 8 mega-pixels resolution. The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 features a way bigger memory capacity to store more apps and games than Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 56 GB more internal storage.
The Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 features a very superior battery duration than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9.
