The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 is a little bit better than the LG G Pad II 10.1, getting a global score of 68.5 against 67.4. These tablets use Android OS (operating system), but the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has the previous 4.2.2 version while LG G Pad II 10.1 has Android 5.1 Lollipop. The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 is a much lighter tablet than the LG G Pad II 10.1, but both of them are equally thin.

The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 counts with a bit superior processor than LG G Pad II 10.1, and although they both have 2 GB of RAM and a Quad-Core processor, the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 also has an extra graphics co-processor.
