Comparison review

The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has a general score of 68.5, which is better than the LG G Pad II 8.0's score of 58.3. Both of these devices include Android OS, but Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has 4.2.2 version while LG G Pad II 8.0 has Android 5.0 Lollipop version. Although Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 is noticeably older and a little bit heavier than the LG G Pad II 8.0, it's construction is still thinner.

Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 counts with an incredibly better looking screen than LG G Pad II 8.0, because it has a little bit bigger screen, a way better resolution of 1600 x 2560 pixels and much more pixels per inch of screen. The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has a quite superior performance than LG G Pad II 8.0, and although they both have a Quad-Core CPU, the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 also has an additional graphics co-processor and a larger amount of RAM memory.

The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 shoots much better pictures and videos than LG G Pad II 8.0, because it has a back facing camera with lot more mega pixels. LG G Pad II 8.0 counts with just a bit bigger memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9, because although it has only 32 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a SD card slot that allows up to 128 GB.

The LG G Pad II 8.0 counts with a very superior battery performance than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9.
