These tablets include Android OS (Operating System), but Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has the previous 4.2.2 version and LG G Pad X II 10.1 has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version. The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 body has the same thickness than the LG G Pad X II 10.1, but it's a lot lighter.
