The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 is just a bit better than the Microsoft Surface 3, having a overall score of 68.5 against 66.3. The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 is an older tablet than the Microsoft Surface 3, but Amazon made it a bit thinner and way lighter anyway. The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 features a lot better looking screen than Microsoft Surface 3, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a much greater pixels count per inch in the screen and a higher 1600 x 2560 resolution.
