Comparison review
Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 is a bit better than the Samsung ATIV Tab 3, getting a overall score of 68.5 against 65. Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 is a much lighter and just a bit thinner tablet device than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, even though both were only released with a couple of months difference. The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has Android 4.2.2 OS, while Samsung ATIV Tab 3 has Windows 8 OS.
Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 features a much sharper screen than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, because although it has a quite smaller display, and they both have the same brightness, the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 also counts with a much greater pixels number per inch of display and a way higher 1600 x 2560 resolution.
