Comparison review
GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) is much better than the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9, with a 77.4 score against 68.5. Both of these tablets have Android OS (Operating System), but the GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) has 4.4.2 version while Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has Android 4.2.2, so it gives some extra features and optimized performance. GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) is a much heavier portable tablet than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9, but both are 0.31inches thick.
The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 features a little sharper display than GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition), because although it has a quite smaller screen, and they both have an equal 1600 x 2560 resolution, the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 also counts with a little better amount of pixels per screen inch.
