The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 is a bit better than Galaxy Note 10.1, with a 68.5 score against 66.3. Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 is a newer portable tablet, and it is also notably lighter and thinner than the Galaxy Note 10.1. Both tablets we are comparing here include Android OS, but the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has an older 4.2.2 version while Galaxy Note 10.1 has Android 4.4 version.
