Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has a general score of 68.5, which is much better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0)'s 60.7 score. Even though Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 is heavier than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), it's incredibly thinner and also newer. These devices work with Android OS (operating system), but Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has a newer 4.2.2 version while Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) has Android 4.1.

The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 counts with a much better looking display than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), because it has a larger screen, a way higher resolution of 1600 x 2560 pixels and a much higher count of pixels per screen inch.
