The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch is a little bit better than the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9, with a overall score of 68.7 against 68.5. Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch is a somewhat lighter and just a bit thinner tablet than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9, although they were released with only a few months difference. Both tablets we are comparing here have the same Android 4.2.2 operating system, so both should provide you very similar OS features.
