Comparison review
Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has a score of 68.5, which is much better than Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids's general score of 57.5. The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 construction is extremely heavier but noticeably thinner than Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, and both of them were released with only a couple of months difference. Both of these tablets have Android OS (operating system), but Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has newer 4.2.2 version and Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids has Android 4.1 version, offering some extra features and performance optimizations.
The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has a much sharper display than GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, because it has a larger screen, a much greater pixel number per inch in the display and a much better resolution of 1600 x 2560 pixels. Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 counts with a quite superior hardware performance than GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, because it has a graphics processor, a greater amount of RAM memory and more cpu cores.
Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 counts with a much better storage capacity to install games and applications than GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 56 GB more internal storage. Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 captures way better pictures and videos than Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, because it has a back facing camera with much more mega pixels.
The GALAXY Tab 3 Kids features a very superior battery lifetime than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9.
