Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has a general score of 68.5, which is a little bit better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0's score of 65.6. Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9's design is somewhat thinner but notably heavier than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, and they were released only 6 months apart. Both of these devices have Android OS (operating system), but Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has 4.2.2 version and Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 has Android 4.4.2.
