The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 is much better than the Galaxy Tab A (2016), having a overall score of 68.5 against 60.4. Despite of the fact the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 is older and notably heavier than the Galaxy Tab A (2016), it's construction is still just a little bit thinner. Both of these tablets work with Android OS (Operating System), but Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has older 4.2.2 version and Galaxy Tab A (2016) has Android 5.1 Lollipop.
