Galaxy Tab Active 3 has an overall score of 79, which is much better than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9's score of 68.5. These devices include Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Tab Active 3 has older 10 version while Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has Android 4.2.2 version. The Galaxy Tab Active 3 design is a lot newer, but a lot thicker and a little bit heavier than the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9.
Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 counts with a much sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3, because it has a just a bit more pixels per inch in the screen, a little bit larger screen and a better resolution of 1600 x 2560px. The Galaxy Tab Active 3 features a little bit better processing power than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processing unit, it also counts with 2 GB more RAM memory and a higher number of cores.
