The Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 is just a bit better than the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9, having a overall score of 74.6 against 68.5. Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1's body is somewhat heavier but just a little thinner than the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9, and both were only released with a couple of months difference. These devices use Android OS, but Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has newer 4.4 version and Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has Android 4.2.2, giving some additional features.
