The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 is much better than Galaxy View, with a 68.5 score against 61.5. The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 design is a lot thinner and noticeably lighter than Galaxy View, despite of the fact that it was released many years before. The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 counts with a much better display than Galaxy View, because although it has a way smaller display, it also counts with much more pixels per screen inch and a better 1600 x 2560 resolution.
The Samsung Galaxy View has a much bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal storage, the Samsung Galaxy View also has an external memory slot that admits up to 128 GB. The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has just a little better performance than Galaxy View, because although it has an inferior number of cores (although they are faster), and they both have 2 GB of RAM memory, the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 also counts with a graphics co-processor.
Samsung Galaxy View counts with a really longer battery lifetime than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9. The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 shoots a lot better photos and videos than Galaxy View.
