Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has a score of 68.5, which is slightly better than the Xiaomi Mi Pad 2's 65.7 score. The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 works with Android 4.2.2 OS, and Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 has Android OS. Despite being the best tablet device we compare here, we must highlight that it's also a incredibly older, somewhat heavier and somewhat thicker tablet device.
Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 features a bit better CPU than Xiaomi Mi Pad 2, and although they both have a 2 GB RAM and a Quad-Core CPU, the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 also has an additional GPU. The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has a sharper display than Xiaomi Mi Pad 2, because it has a just a little higher pixel count in each inch of screen, a quite better resolution of 1600 x 2560 pixels and a little larger display.
Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 shoots just a bit better photographs and videos than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9, and although they both have a same resolution back facing camera, the Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 also has a larger camera aperture for better photos and video in low light environments. The Xiaomi Mi Pad 2's memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos is very similar to the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 one, both have exactly the same 64 GB internal storage.
The Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 features a much better battery duration than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9.
