Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has a global score of 68.5, which is better than Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro's 59.4 general score. Both devices in this review use Android OS (Operating System), but the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has a more recent 4.2.2 version and Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro has Android 15 version, so it counts with lots of additional features.
The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 counts with a lot better display than Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro, although it has way less brightness and a much smaller display. Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro features a much greater storage capacity to install applications and games than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9, because it has 64 GB more internal memory capacity.
Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 features a much powerful processor than Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory and 4 lesser processing cores , it also counts with an extra graphics processing unit. The Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro shoots much clearer photographs and videos than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9, because it has a back-facing camera with much more megapixels and a larger aperture for better low-light photos and video.
