The Apple iPad 10.2-inch is a lot better than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), with a general score of 79.3 against 58.6. The Apple iPad 10.2-inch design is notably thinner but noticeably heavier than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), and both were released only 8 months apart. IPad 10.2-inch features a better looking screen than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), because it has a bigger display, a lot better 1620 x 2160 pixels resolution and a higher display density.
Apple iPad 10.2-inch features a bit more powerful processing unit than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), and although they both have 4 cores, the Apple iPad 10.2-inch also has 1 GB more RAM. The iPad 10.2-inch features a greater camera than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), because it has a lot better video quality and a back camera with a much better resolution.
The Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) has a bit bigger memory capacity to store more games and applications than Apple iPad 10.2-inch, because although it has only 32 GB internal storage, it also counts with a SD card slot that admits a maximum of 1000 GB.
