Apple iPad 10.2-inch is a bit better than Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5, getting a global score of 79.3 against 74.3. Apple iPad 10.2-inch's construction is noticeably newer than Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5's, although it's thicker and just a bit heavier. Galaxy Tab S 10.5 counts with a slightly better looking display than iPad 10.2-inch, because it has a bit bigger display, a just a bit better quantity of pixels per screen inch and a little higher resolution of 1600 x 2560 pixels.
Apple iPad 10.2-inch counts with much more memory to store more apps and games than Galaxy Tab S 10.5, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage. IPad 10.2-inch has just a little better performance than Galaxy Tab S 10.5, although it has a lower number of cores (although they are faster), they both have 3 GB of RAM memory.
The iPad 10.2-inch has a little longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5, because it has an 8827mAh battery size against 7900mAh. Apple iPad 10.2-inch captures much better photos and videos than Galaxy Tab S 10.5. They have the same 1920x1080 video definition, a back-facing camera with an 8 mega pixels resolution and the same video frame rate.
Although iPad 10.2-inch is a better device, it is way more expensive than Galaxy Tab S 10.5, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Galaxy Tab S 10.5. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy iPad 10.2-inch, otherwise you can save some money and get the Galaxy Tab S 10.5, giving up some specifications.
