Comparison review
The iPad 10.2-inch is slightly better than Galaxy Tab S 8.4, with a 79.3 score against 74.5. The iPad 10.2-inch is a noticeably newer tablet than Galaxy Tab S 8.4, although it is extremely heavier and thicker. The Apple iPad 10.2-inch has a bit faster processor than Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4, although it has an inferior number of cores , they both have 3 GB of RAM.
Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has a more vivid display than Apple iPad 10.2-inch, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a higher pixels count in each screen inch and a slightly higher resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels. Apple iPad 10.2-inch features a much better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4. Both of them have the same video frame rates, the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition and a 8 MP back-facing camera.
The Apple iPad 10.2-inch has much more storage for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage. The iPad 10.2-inch has a way better battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4, because it has an 8827mAh battery size instead of 4900mAh.
Although iPad 10.2-inch is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Galaxy Tab S 8.4, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy Tab S 8.4. So if you need that extra features, you can buy iPad 10.2-inch, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Galaxy Tab S 8.4, giving up some specs and features.
